4. Cell transfection

Human embryo kidney cells (cell line 293) were transfected with reporter plasmid (cont. GFP) prepared by GeneAllR Plasmid DNA Prep Kit (A) or 2x CsCl method (B). After transfected using Calcium phosphate, transfected cells were detected by fluorescence.

Figures show transfection efficiency of plasmid prepared GeneAllR Plasmid DNA Prep Kit compared to 2x CsCl method.

2. Extraction Efficiency

Quantities of extracted 4.5kb DNA fragment corresponding to 1/5 of the DNA obtained by purification from 0.5ug starting DNA with a recovery of 90%. Samples were run on 1% TAE agarose gel.
