The individual paints are available in packs of 5 or 20 assays and have 3 direct labels and 2 indirect labels...............................................................................more new products

Direct Labeling
Three direct labels tetramethylrhodamine* (TAMRA), Sulforhodamine 101** (Texas red) or Fluorescein (FAM), are available to choose. Tetramethylrhodamine and Sulforhodamine 101 are seen as orange red and red fluorescent signals, while Fluorescein is green.

Customers are strongly recommended to choose fluorescent labels compatible with the filter sets. Please consult your filter provider for details before selecting CytoTrend's probes.

Indirect Labeling
To provide more choices for customers, individual paints are also provided with two indirect labels biotin-dUTP and digoxigenin-dUTP. The advantages of using indirect labeled probes are for stable long-term storage, enhanced fluorescent signals and flexible choices of labeling dyes.

Both direct and indirect labeled probes are provided in a ready-to-use format in hybridization buffer and can be directly applied for FISH without prehybridization. DAPI counterstain is also provided with the probes for chromosome visualization.
